Hire

You can order a carrier for hire here and they can be sent via post or collected from our coded drop box. Please note designs in our hire section vary but we will do our best to accommodate requests. Please just add details of preferred colours or designs to the custom box upon ordering.

All hires are on a rolling monthly subscription until returned and cancelled. Please see full hiring terms and conditions below.

Mumaroo Sling Hire Terms and Conditions

 

All Slings and carriers hired remain the property of Korrin Savage owner of Mumaroo at all times. Upon subscribing to hire the Hiree agrees to these terms.

Duration


Sling hires are monthly on a rolling contract.
 

Subscriptions will be cancelled by Mumaroo upon the satisfactory safe return of the carrier. Returns MUST be received to Mumaroo via post, drop in session or in the drop box BEFORE the date the sling is due back. Should the carrier not be by 11.59pm on the day BEFORE  this date then another month will automatically be deducted and this will not be eligible for refund.

Payments
 

Payments are taken from the card that the customer used to sign up to the subscription. Should there be any problems with the card processing Mumaroo will get in touch with the customer directly and customer should resolve these issues within 7 days. If this is not done Mumaroo reserves the right to charge a late fee of £5 for every additional week until payment is resolved.

Sling condition

All hires are checked thoroughly before sending in the post to customers. Should they arrive with any marks, stains or damage at all this should be reported immediately so we can resolve the issue. All carriers have been freshly laundered for each hire using a gentle detergent. If hiring in person it is the Customers responsibility to check over condition before they hire the carrier.

Should any damage occur to the carrier whilst on hire this should be reported to us immediately. If the carrier is damaged beyond reasonable repair Mumaroo reserves the right to invoice the customer for full RRP cost of the carrier in question to be replaced. This invoice must be paid in full within 7 days. Mumaroo will take legal action using small claims court if this is not paid.

Returns
Returns should be made either:

In person to our drop in sessions

Via post:

Leaving in our drop box: Please message Mumaroo for the current code

Returns need to be RECEIVED at Mumaroo by the renewal date. Should they not be received then the next months payment will automatically be taken. If posting please use a TRACKED service to avoid any postal delays or errors.
 

 

Washing

Customers should not wash their hire sling. Mumaroo has freshly laundered the sling on he clients behalf. Should the carrier require a wash whilst in the customers care then customer MUST discuss with Mumaroo so we can issue specific washing instructions first. We expect carriers to be returned requiring a wash.

Care

Whilst the Customer has the sling or carrier on hire they must take care not to cause any damage. Please be extra mindful and careful with buckles in car doors, keys or sharp objects near delicate materials. Do not use any detergents, fabric softener or chemicals near the slings unless discussed first with Mumaroo.

 

Safety

Safety is the upmost priority to Mumaroo. Should the Customer ever be unsure that they are not using the carrier safely then please discuss with Mumaroo and we will be more than happy to offer support. In some cases this may be suggesting a zoom / video call session which is a chargeable service. In most occasions we can answer questions and resolve any concerns via email, the chatbox or social media messages. Clients should ensure they are always following TICKS safety rules.
